Introducing Common Fate

We are thrilled to introduce Common Fate, the evolution of our platform, building on the strong foundation of Granted and focusing on enhancing the user experience. Key features include:

• Comprehensive Visibility: Effortlessly oversee all your AWS accounts from a single interface for total cloud control.
• Streamlined Workflow: Navigate AWS seamlessly, eliminating constant context-switching, and effortlessly move between accounts, regions, and resources.
• Intelligent Search: Quickly find what you need with powerful and responsive search capabilities, ensuring you stay proactive in managing your cloud infrastructure.

Common Fate is a promise of security and convenience. It's a desktop application, right on your device, safeguarding your AWS credentials - they never leave your control.

We're actively integrating access management workflows into Common Fate, powered by our trusted privileged access management framework, offering a seamless transition for Glide users.

AWS Confessions

As we dive into the world of Common Fate, we know that AWS journeys aren't always smooth sailing. So, we created AWS Confessions, the safe haven to anonymously share your unfiltered thoughts and experiences with AWS. Privileged Access, Rebranded

Our open-source privileged access management framework has been renamed to Glide. Rest assured, it's only a name change, and nothing else about this project will be affected. If you have any questions or just want to chat, don't hesitate to reach out.

Granted Updates

In our ongoing commitment to enhancing Granted, we're excited to share the latest updates:

• Auto-refresh for Credential Process: We've introduced automatic credential refresh for roles using the credential process. The default export now covers the AWS_PROFILE environment variable. To export all variables, simply use the -export-all-env-vars flag during execution.
• Waterfox Browser Support: Thanks to the fantastic work of @dowster, we're now compatible with the Waterfox browser. Activate this feature with a simple granted browser set and update your browser preference.
